Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract.
It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.

On 17th april, IRRILAND took part in Brussels in the 2nd phase of the Horizon 2020- SME Instrument Project.

The PROTECTOR project was admitted to the Interviews which involved, among the thousands of European companies that made the request, only 135 companies in all market sectors, of which 15 were Italian and of these only 9 projects have been selected for the SME Instrument Phase 2 grant.

It is a reason of great pride to have participated in this final phase and have been able to represent an Italian excellence that was much appreciated by the European commissioners during and after the interview.

This is a recognition of the potential of our project and a great impulse to keep improving! 💪
